Electrical Engineering Alumni of UEESRG UNNES Awarded PMDSU 2025 Scholarship at ITS
Semarang, August 8th 2025 — Two alumni of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (FT UNNES), Deyndrawan Sutrisno, S.T. and Endang Widiyawati, S.T., have been awarded the Beasiswa Pendidikan Magister menuju Doktor untuk Sarjana Unggul (PMDSU), Batch IX, 2025.
They will pursue their advanced studies at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ir. Imam Robandi, M.T. as their academic advisor.
Both are also alumni of the UNNES Electrical Engineering Students Research Group (UEESRG), actively serving as assistant professors in conducting research and community service under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Subiyanto, S.T., M.T.
Prof. Subiyanto expressed his pride in their achievement, stating that their success can inspire the younger researchers at UEESRG to believe that we can strive for and achieve what we set our minds to.
The PMDSU program is one of the flagship initiatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia through the Diktisaintek Berdampak scheme. It offers exceptional bachelor’s degree graduates the opportunity to undertake an integrated master’s and doctoral program within four years.
This achievement is a source of pride for the UNNES community, especially the Electrical Engineering Study Program, and is expected to inspire other students and alumni to excel at both national and international levels.
